I have visited Chna many times, particularly between 1997 and 2007. In 2007 I flew to Hong Kong and spent two months working with a brilliant phographer Vincent Assante De Cupillo to document a journey around the Pearl River Delta, including stop-overs in Shenzhen, Dongguan, Guangzhou, Zhuhai and Macao, returning to Hong Kong, and then travelling to Shanghai for more art work.. At the time, and maybe still, the Pearl River Delta was the Future and I wanted to record my place in it. Some of these pictures record Live Art performances, and all of them are photo-collaborations with Vincent. In this slide-show there is one image for each of the actions I carried out during those two months - I hardly had a day off but it was the time of my life.
