In 2016 I was commissioned by the Cockpit Theatre in London to curate a weekend of Live Art performance dedicated to the theme of Family. It was called Beyond Bloodlines and at some pont I was asked if I would contribute a performance to the programme. I chose to concentrate on my relationship with my Mother (now deceased) and used as a medium my piano-playing. The result was another of my pieces with an autobiographical focus and after its premiere at the Cockpit it was performed again at Edge Hill University’s Arts Centre in the autumn of 2018 with a full grand piano. This is very much a show I would like to do again.
